Stormwater Mitigation in Las Cruces

Las Cruces monsoons can drop an inch of rain in under an hour. The caliche soil doesn't absorb it, so it runs — fast. We design and build drainage systems that catch, channel, and discharge stormwater before it damages your property.

What We Build

Every property drains differently. We assess where water enters your lot, where it pools, and where it needs to exit — then we build the infrastructure to make that happen reliably every storm.

Catch Basins

Collect surface water at low points and route it underground through solid pipe to a discharge point.

Channel Drains

Linear grate drains across driveways, patios, and walkways to intercept sheet flow before it enters your home.

Dry Creek Beds

Decorative rock channels that move water during storms and look like a natural landscape feature when dry.

Grading & Berms

Reshaping the ground to direct water away from structures. Sometimes the simplest fix is the most effective.

Stormwater FAQ

Water pools against my foundation every monsoon. What do I do?
Call us. This is exactly what we solve. It usually requires some combination of grading, a french drain, and a catch basin to intercept and redirect the water. David will come out and show you exactly what's needed.
Can a dry creek bed actually handle heavy rain?
Yes — when properly sized and graded. We build them wide enough and deep enough to handle the volume your property generates during a heavy monsoon. The rock slows the water down and prevents erosion along the channel.
What does NDS Pro Certified mean?
NDS is the largest manufacturer of residential and commercial drainage products in the U.S. Their Pro certification means David has been trained directly by NDS on proper drainage design, product selection, and installation methods. It's not a generic landscaping license — it's drainage-specific expertise.
