Las Cruces courtyard residence

A declining mesquite in a tiled courtyard was cracking the flagstone patio around it. Rather than patch around the problem, we took the tree down in sections, pulled the stump, tore out the entire damaged patio, and relaid it from scratch.

Monsoon runoff was cutting a rough wash across a large desert lot toward the house. We marked a proper channel, graded it, and lined the whole run with river rock over fabric so heavy rain has somewhere controlled to go.
