Brainard's Greenscapes runs this website from Las Cruces, NM. This page describes what happens with your data when you browse the site or reach out to us through the contact form. Throughout this page, "we" and "our" refer to Brainard's Greenscapes.

What You Send Us Directly

The contact form on this site asks for your name, email, phone number (optional), which services interest you, how you heard about us, and whatever details you'd like to share about your project. That submission is delivered to us through Formspree, a third-party form processor. We receive it as an email and use it only to follow up on your inquiry or put together an estimate.

This website does not process payments, create user accounts, or store login credentials. The contact form is the only place where you actively provide information to us.

What Gets Collected Automatically

We use Google Analytics (GA4, measurement ID G-7EG3QSMN7X) to see which pages people visit, how long they stay, and what kind of device or browser they're using. Google handles all of that processing on their end. IP addresses are anonymized before anything reaches us, so we see aggregate traffic patterns, not individual visitors.

Google Analytics places a small file (a cookie) in your browser to tell repeat visits apart from new ones. You can block this through your browser's cookie settings. The site will still work normally without it — you just won't be distinguishable from a first-time visitor in our traffic reports.

Who Else Handles Your Data

Three outside services touch your data: Formspree delivers your contact form submission to our inbox, Google processes the analytics described above, and Cloudflare Turnstile verifies that contact form submissions come from real visitors rather than automated bots. Turnstile runs invisibly in the background — no puzzles or checkboxes. You can read Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy policy at cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy. None of these services receive anything beyond what's needed to perform their specific function. We do not hand your information to advertisers, data brokers, mailing lists, or any other outside party.

Links to Other Sites

Some pages link out to Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn. Once you follow one of those links you're on that company's platform, operating under their own privacy rules. We have no visibility into what they collect on their end.

Managing Your Information

If you've sent us a form submission and want it corrected or deleted, just let us know. Email david@brainardsgreenscapes.com or call (575) 635-8883 and we'll take care of it.

Updates

If we ever change how we handle data — for example, adding a new tool or collecting something we don't currently collect — we'll revise this page and change the revision date above.
